I have this computer which has had a problem for the longest(I had it stored after a while because of this). I've searched online for solutions and haven't found one. I turn on the pc and the screen starts up but gets stuck at bios screen. Only after power cycling it for sometimes a very long time will it boot up. When it boots up the keyboard lights flash and when it doesn't book the lights remain off. I read somewhere that this was sometimes due to a bad power supply so I replaced it without success. I was told a while back that I had to update the bios which I did and the problem remained. I would sometimes try running the recovery and it would sometimes work for a while but then the problem always came back. What could cause this?
