Computer Randomly Restarts

Okay, so I've been having this problem for a while and I've tried to fix it myself but all attempts have proved unsuccessful. I've seen similar problems get solved on this forum so hopefully you guys can help me out. This started about a month or so ago, after I got a new sound card and some extra RAM. For some strange reason, sometimes my computer will just restart. This seems to only happen while I've been playing a game for more than a couple hours. But even then, sometimes my computer is just totally fine and has no issues whatsoever when I've been playing a game for hours and hours. I've looked in the event viewer and every time it happens the source is Kernel-Power and the Event ID is 41.
Here is the XML stuff if it helps:
- <Event xmlns="http://schemas.microsoft.com/win/2004/08/events/event">

(sorry I couldn't include the indentations, this forum just won't let me)
Also sometimes when this restart happens my sound card will not work at all. The inputs will not show up in Sounds.
Solutions I've tried so far:
-testing my RAM
-making sure my power supply is plugged in securely and didn't come unplugged
-checking to see if my computer has overheated (I open up the PC and put my hand in it, it feels warm but isn't hot)
-buying a new power supply (I heard that the power supply I had was really awful and the store had recommended it but then they realized it was bad later)
My system specs:
Windows 8 x64
AMD FX 6100
ASUS M5A97 Motherboard
Radeon HD 6800
Sound Blaster Z
Crucial 4gb D3 1600 DIMM CL (x4)
Thermaltake Smart M 750W Power Supply

I'm honestly out of ideas at this point and just hoping one of you has a solution to my problem.
