I have a AMD FX-6200 Zambezi 3.8GHz Processor inside of a MSI 760GM-E51 (FX) AM3+ Motherboard
I updated the BIOS, and still no luck.
Let me give a little history first.
This CPU worked fine for a few months until the Motherboard died.
I'm almost sure that the CPU may have died as well, but I hate giving up on causes unless they are completely lost.
The CPU has no visible damage, and the replacement motherboard is the same model as before.
I ensured that the pins are completely clean.
Same machine with another Processor works just fine.
No POST, no Beep codes, nothing.
I hate to just let this thing go because it has no visible signs of damage.
What would cause this CPU to stop working? It didn't overheat or anything.
Would someone be able to provide some insight on any reason why a CPU would just quit?
