Quick question

Hi everyone i was wondering if not having a graphics card will still show video(windows).As in if you were to make a computer,and you get into windows login and after you shut down and take out the graphics card... Would it boot? And would it just shut down?... I am referring to a cpu that doesn't have an igpu.
