Hi there!
Story time:
I built this PC back in May and never had any problems with it after I got the overclock stable. Then suddenly a week ago, while watching a video it decided to restart out of nowhere and after that all I could see is a black screen.
Specs:
CPU: Intel i5 2500K @ 4.5GHz
MOTHERBOARD: ASRock P67 Pro3
GRAPHIC CARD: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 560 Ti
RAM: 8GB DDR3 1600MHz
Cooler: Noctua D-14
PSU: Corsair TX550M
Now for the problem:
If I turn the PC on it restarts after about 3 seconds and then nothing really happens, it is powered on but I have a black screen. All fans seem to work, except one of the two on my Noctua D-14 cooler. However if I use a different FAN connector the fan works. I am not sure if the hard drives are powered. I have tried the GPU on a different computer and it works perfectly fine there. Also no LEDs are lighting up on the motherboard and the DrDebug thing isn't lighting up either. I would love to test the CPU on another PC but all three PCs we have have different sockets. I also couldn't find any indications on the motherboard that it's broken...
So far I'd guess the motherboard is (at least partially) damaged, but I have no clue how to actually pinpoint the problem.
Any help with this would be highly appreciated.
