Hi guys!
I recently bought a new mobo and case however I couldn't get the mobo to work. I assumed it was faulty since everything should have been functioning although when i put my old one in my new case the display/keyboard/mouse weren't working.
I've narrowed it down to the 4 pin ATX 12v cable. The problem at first was that the psu 4 pin doesn't reach the top left so i had to buy an extender. I can't help but think that the extender might be faulty. Any ideas what else the problem could be?
Also, if the 4pin extender is faulty would this cause my new mobo to not function at all? As in no power getting to it once I turn it on? My former motherboard was a mini ATX and my new one is an ATX if there's any key difference which I'm missing out on!
Cheers!
