Hi,
I am having a hard time figuring out what is causing my problem.
I am having totally random crashes. Sometimes I can use my pc for a few days without any problem, then suddenly crash! reboot. Then it can continue normally for another few days.
Sometimes I get a crash starting up Windows.
Other times I cannot even boot into Windows, I get a endless rebooting cycle, it doesn't even enter POST.
This is what drives me crazy, I don't see a clear pattern. There are times when I just cannot pass the start-up, for hours. Then the next day it works again fine.
I tried testing each hardware individually, but with no result. I tested the memory with memtest86 and everything is fine.
I am quite sure is isnt a Windows related issue, since I formated the HD.
I do suspect so it could be related to heat, because usually after I get a crash for the first time, the second crash is more likely to occur, and sometimes after the first crash I stay stuck in the endless rebooting loop without getting the POST. However I checked in the BIOS and with HWMonitor and everything seems fine.
My system specs are:
Mainboard : Gigabyte EP45-DS3L
Processor : Intel Pentium E5200 @ 2500 MHz
Physical Memory : 4096 MB (2 x 2048 DDR2-SDRAM )
Video Card : Radeon HD5670 512MB
Hard Disk : Western Digital WD5000AAKS-00A7B0 ATA Device (500GB)
Monitor Type : Dell Computer DELL E171FPb - 17 inches
Network Card : Realtek Semiconductor RTL8139/810x Fast Ethernet Adapter
Operating System : Windows 7 Ultimate Service Pack 1 (32-bit)
Power Supply: Antec Earthwatts 500W
I would appreciate any advice, thanks in advance
