I am planning on a win 7/ 64 bit intel based system for cad, technical and office applications and have a few questions about this upcoming build. I am considering an I5 - 4670k processor.
I will need to run legacy cad apps and other apps from win xp pro. I recall reading that for the xp cad apps require the cpu to have hardware virtualization. Is this Intel virtualization technology and Intel virtulalization technology for I/O in the intel specs? And is needed for the leg data? Under advanced tech. ARK | Compare Intel® Products
Have you found any mobo brands with better reliability and support than others.
Are there any special considerations with ss drives and are they to the point were they are more reliable than a mechanical HD?
