Hi. I just installed my new motherboard, BIOSTAR TA970 and my cpu fan is not only stuck on high, but both case fans will not turn off when I sleep the computer. I checked the connections and they're fine. I checked in the BIOS, and unless I'm missing something, everything in there checks out fine. It doesn't really bother me that it runs on high when I'm using it, but when I sleep it, I want them off. My previous motherboard, GIGABYTE GA-880GM-D2H did not have this problem, and I had that board for 2 years. So, I hope to find a fix for this. Thanks.
build specs:
motherboard: BIOSTAR TA970
case: Rosewill R519-BK
cpu: Amd Fx-6100 (not oc'd)
ram: G.Skill Ripjaws 8gb DDR3 F3-10666CL9D-8GBRL(not oc'd)
gpu: HIS iCooler H775F1GD(not oc'd)
ssd: Samsung 256gb (can't remember exactly what it is or find the link)
psu: SeaSonic X Series X650 Gold
Thanks again.
[EDIT] I should note that it does not matter if it's on idle or load, the fan is on high all the time. Using HW Monitor i found my cpu temp at idle is about 16C or so.
