CPU Temp

I just built a new system and am relatively new to Quad-core processors. I'm using the same programs I did on my single core systems and noticing a huge difference in speed, however I'm also noticing the CPU temp running higher also, and it get to higher temperatures much more quickly than the single core (up to 58 C in lieu of 47 C). Is this indicative of Quad-cores or do I have a contact issue between the heat sink and the CPU?

AMD A10-5800K Trinity 3.8GHz (4.2GHz Turbo) Socket FM2 100W Quad-Core Desktop APU (CPU + GPU) with DirectX 11 Graphic AMD Radeon HD 7660D

I'm only running it at 3.8GHz. I installed the stock heatsink/fan.
