I'm looking for a small ssd 32-64gb to run on my MSI z97-G41 (PC MATE) running in IDE mode with windows XP pro.
I had an 840 samsung evo 128gb a while back and its system of smoke and mirrors proved little faster than my WD 1TB on XP. I need write speed as fast as possible on this exact set up.
Also do I have an M.2 slot? many ssds say they plug into a PCIe 2.0 x2, I have 1-3.0 x16, 1-2.0 x4 and 2 x1, can I plug that short card into a long x4 slot?
