Laptop big delay, processor problems, ..

Hi!

I have laptop LENOVO T500 Core2Duo, 4GB RAM, Windows 7,
I have a big problem when I switch it on. Before everything start working, it´s a big delay, especially with the sound card that I could hear the first sound. I own ext. professionaly studio soundcard with ASIO drivers.

I wanted to ask if it´s possible to make a check if processor it´s working ok.
I have problems when I want to export audio projects, many times i can not do that, it stops!

I need some help,
