First off, I have a toshiba satellite 9755-s5265 and please pardon my lack of capitalizations as I'm on my android.
Now, I've been getting this error message for months:
Realtek pcie fe family controller series v1.23 (07/28/10)
Pxe-e61: media test failure, check cable
Pxe-m0f: exiting pxe-rom
Reboot and select proper boot device
Or insert boot media in selected boot device and press a key.
I've been getting this for months like I said, but it would stop showing up after 5 mins of re-booting. I'm a student so I don't really have the money to fix unless its a must. But today its been staying for an hour and up. In the bios I think its called, its saying my hdd/sdd and odd are not present, but then it starts working again and it says they are present so its almost definitely something loose right? Where I bought it, they said it could be a virus but they sounded unsure and like they didn't know what they were talking about. I got into the factory reset by doing the 0 thing, but had to cancel out of it (worked after that) and now its not doing it anymore. Any ideas?
When I was talking about the hdd/sdd and odd not being present and then it starts working again and they show up, I meant in the past, not today. My odd did show up one time though but it went away.
