Various issues after heatsink installed

My CPU fan crapped out and I was getting temps around 90 C on my intel i7. I installed a new heatsink and fan earlier, and for some reason im getting a crap ton of issues now. For one windows gets to the login screen and freezes. I'll get to my home screen sometimes and everything will look fine but it's all frozen except for my mouse. I try to enter safe mode but It goes until it gets to classpnp.sys and i get a BSOD (no idea what it says, it just flashes and restarts). I have no idea where to go from here so any help would be appreciated. So far i've tried switching out the GPU and unplugging the fan.
