Can't Open Bios.

I recently bought a new motherboard only to find that my ram was not compatible with it. The motherboard can take DDR3 ram but my ram runs at a higher frequency. I have been told that the motherboard will automatically down clock the frequency for its compatibility but my motherboard wasn't doing that. I learnt later that in some cases a setting has to be turned on in the motherboard's Bios for this function to operate (xmp profile). The problem is, I can't open the Bios to turn on that setting Because the computer wont start without ram. So, my question is, Can I edit the Bios settings without access to the Bios? Maybe you can do it via usb? Or even better can you somehow force launch bios without ram? Here are some specs if it helps you help me:

Motherboard: Asus b85-pro Gamer
Ram: G.Skill TRIDENT Ram 8gb (2 x 4gb) DDR3-2400
Cpu: Intel Xeon E3
