In various threads, I've read how to use an Ubuntu live CD (or DOS floppy) to run flashrom and flash a new BIOS with bootblock data, but no-one mentions how to specify a destination path for a backup ROM image with flashrom!
If you boot from a CD (as commonly suggested), and you don't have a floppy drive, how can you possibly "back-up" the ROM?
If I install floppy, what is the correct syntax for a path? (in the case of a CD boot)
Thanks!
