My pc is the following : i5 2500k hd 7850 2x4 gigs ram asrock z75 pro3 board
I was using the pc this afternoon, when suddenly the pc froze with a "contact hardware manufacturer" message. I restarted it, and since then I can't seem to get the pc to work at all.
When I turn on the pc I hear the fans whirring up, but there is nothing on the screen, the keyboard is unresponsive as well.
-I tried resetting the CMOS by removing the battery, pushing the power button for a few seconds, then reseating it.
-Tried taking out the video card and using intel graphics
-Tried plugging out every peripherial
No luck, same issue. The only thing it seemingly did was on the first startup after the reset the pc turned off right after i turned it on (basically in a second). Then it went back to the same behaviour.
I pretty much reseated every cable inside the case. I am out of ideas.
And in addition, I had similar freezes happen to me like once a week or so, ever since I got the computer. But it the problem always went away after a restart. Due to the rarity of the crash and the fact that it left no minidumps, it was impossible to troubleshoot.
