I recently just had my computer assembled by people who know what they are doing (i.e. not me) and they've closed now so no help from them. I have a USB cd/dvd drive and am trying to install windows 8.
The computer starts up fine and displays all the boot information and such. Then it says "Verifying DMI Pool data", then "Boot from CD/DVD:" and then restarts and shows this again. The cord(s) from the Usb cd drive are plugged in to USB 2.0 plugs, and the cd is in there, and it detects the drive. I have the boot order set up to boot from USB/DVD first.
Does anyone know what to do? I've tried to plug the cords in harder and they don't go so I know they're secure. It is a Coolead brand.
