Hey everyone,
I recently posted in here with getting some feedback on buying new hardware for my PC and people like masterchiefxx17, gcavan, greenbrucelee & panther REALLY helped out. I ended up buying the following configuration:
CPU: AMD FX-9370 (known to run warm)
GPU: MSI Geforce GTX 970
Mobo: ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z
Paste: Arctic Silver 5
I was able to install it successfully (I believe) while following youtube videos and the PC building post by masterchiefxx17 here on TSM.
The bench test was successful and now my computer is running pretty smoothly. I installed the ASUS Suite II to monitor temps/power because I was nervous about the CPU overheating. Especially with the following fan: Asetek 510LC Liquid Cooling System 120MM Radiator & Fan.
After giving it some tests I get the following temp readings on my CPU:
Idle: 38-40 degrees C
CS:GO on high settings: 58-62 degrees C
Should these temps worry me? Everywhere online says to keep the temp below 60 C if possible.
Thanks so much again!
