Well, I have Acer TravelMate 7750G with intel core i5 2430M and grafic card AMD Radeon HD 6650M. The thing is, that my graphic card is probably damaged/weared off after all the years I have been using my laptop. Whenever I try to do some *graphically intensive* stuff (playing videogames, any 3d program) it creates strange colors, messes up the scene and eventually crashes. Sometimes it reloads and works for another few seconds/minutes, sometimes I have to shut the laptop down. I have been able to reproduce this behavior on both windows and linux so its very likely hardware problem.
But hey, my laptop has also and integrated Intel HD graphic card, which sadly is not loaded as long as I have the non removable Radeon and without access to BIOS advanced settings.
I am using this BIOS: http://global-download.acer.com/GDFi...ACER&SC=EMEA_7
(its link to official Acer site)
I would appreciate any help with my situation, as I don't want to throw my laptop away yet. I am also aware that dealing with BIOS stuff can kill my laptop completely, but I don't see any other possibility. Thanks for your time, and I hope someone can help. I can provide any other info if necessary.
