Hi,
My old a8n-sli deluxe bit the dust after 15 months in the cupboard,I was just gonna replace the chipset fan and donate it to someone else. After finding a cheap fan and installing it the PSU let go and junked the board. I have just got a mobo from eBay and now plan to use it as a htpc. The mobo seems to work fine but when I tried my old ram and it work fine or it did seem to. I then tried my x2 CPU and I did not get any error beeps or display,I then put the single core 4000 back and had no joy but have got it all going now and my problem is the BIOS on the mobo are from the Asus sli premium and when I tried to flash from a floppy and within win XP I get the message saying can't flash as file does not match the one that's already know installed but they must of had this message when they attempted to flash to the premium bios, so how did they do this??? Thanks for any help
Regards.
