Hey all. So I got a laptop from a dude on craigslist for $50. I want to factory reset it and I've been having major problems doing it. The laptop is an Acer Aspire 5532 series. My main problem is that I can't factory reset using the ALT+F10 method. I managed to find a solution, but it required me to go into the BIOS section.
Now here, it asks for a password and I can't get past it. I've tried running cmospwd and that didn't work. Do you guys have a sure fire way, besides taking off the cmos battery, to remove or get past this password? I need to access the BIOS in order to change the disk priority.
