CPU Running Issues Since Dusting

Hey everyone,

I have been having issues with my desktop for the last few days. I was playing a game when my PC immediately shut down, like right to black screen. I recognized it from when I attempted to stream as my CPU overheating.

So I decided now was a good time to dust my computer. Using pressurized air, I cleaned my rig, removed my heat sink, to remove the dust. After reassembling starting my PC, I noticed after a few minutes time, my performance quickly slowed down to unusable levels. At this point I assumed that I messed up the Thermal Compound under the heat sink, so I applied a fresh batch, and still my problem persists.

According to the BIOS, my CPU temp is at 33 degrees, and my EVGA precision says my GPU is at 34 degrees. Due to how drastic the performance issue is, I am not able to download any programs on my computer to look farther into it (such as HWmonitor).

I am not the best with computers, I am okay, but still lack a lot of knowledge. I was able to get this far with research, but I have no clue where to go from here. Thank you very much for any help.
