Hello, all. My computer has started giving me an issue lately. It will randomly power down completely - no error message or anything. It seems to happen more often when I am doing something intensive (e.g. playing a video game), but it has happened even when my computer was sitting idle. The only change I've made to my system is adding a slave drive and upgrading to Windows 10 (64-bit), and that was a couple months before I started having the issue.
I have already tried replacing the power supply, the RAM, and updating my BIOS to the latest version. I'm down to the MB, CPU, or GPU as causing the issue (I guess the HD could somehow be the problem, but I don't see how). I also took it to a friend's house to test it (so as to make sure that it wasn't my outlet/surge protector). I also completely reformatted and started over with a fresh install of Windows.
At this point, I do not even know how to keep troubleshooting. I do not have spare parts for any of the things that seem like they could be the issue. So I am hoping that someone here can give me some guidance - possibly in the form of some diagnostic tools. Just let me know if you need to know any of my system specs.
