I just bought a computer from someone. When I was looking at the PC, he showed me a couple games and stuff to make sure it worked properly. He then did a factory reset and removal of personal information.
After the reset reached more than 50% we agreed to shut it down so we didn't have to wait. He said it would start back up again and finish when I started the computer. He then turned the computer back on to show me that it would do this properly.
When I started the computer at home all it shows is the ASRock motherboard logo and then goes to a black screen and won't do anything else. Any suggestions and advice are greatly appreciated, thank you.
edit: as far as which OS is on it I'm not sure. I've been using Mac for several years now and don't know enough about newer windows. I googled some images of windows 7-10 and I did not see any square/rectangular geometrical shapes on the windows interface. So I'm either thinking it is Windows 7 or he set it up so that it didn't have any of the square windowed icons like I've seen in the windows 8-10 google images. Sorry I'm not more informative.
