I have an M51BC-US008S Asus AMD FX-8300, with an AMI BIOS, version 0402 that was last updated in 2013.
I recently tried to setup a new lab on this machine using VirtualBox, but it was telling me AMD-V (virtualization) was not enabled. I went into the BIOS and through every menu, nothing that says virtual, AMD-V, SVM, etc. anywhere. Not one hint of virtualization.
These virtualization settings seem to be damn near impossible to find, there are a lot of threads about it. I checked the security and CPU settings where some found them; nothing...
I downloaded speccy and confirmed that my CPU supports virtualization but it is indeed disabled. The only thing it does not support is hyper threading.
So where can I find this virtualization setting in my BIOS? I looked through the manual but didn't see it. :banghead:
