Hi guys,
Recently upgraded my graphics card to a GTX 1060, which is getting the job done, but now the only low point of my PC (aside from maybe the power supply) is my CPU.
Got this CPU for a low-end gaming PC close to 3 years ago now, so it's high time I update, but I know nothing about CPUs. I'm fairly certain my motherboard restricts me to just AMD, but I'm not 100%. Over the years of gaming on a budget I get pretty well acquainted with GPU specs and models, but I now realise I know almost nothing about CPUs... Which is hopefully where you fine folks come in!
The more future-proof it is the better, but I also don't want to just go right for the most expensive for marginally better performance, after all this is a gaming PC, and I've got a pretty nice GPU.
Anyway, here are my current specs:
OS: Windows 10
Motherboard: ASUS F2A8-V PRO
CPU: AMD A10-5800K
RAM: 8GB
GPU: Geforce GTX1060
PSU: Seasonic 520W Bronze
