Back in August I bough and AMD FX 4350, and here soon should be finally getting the motherboard, and case which is all I need to get the PC going. The stock cooler did come with thermal paste pre-applied. But, I'm a bit concerned as it IS an AMD cpu, I wanna keep it as cool as possible. I'm afraid the thermal paste the cooler comes with isn't quite enough, along with the fact I made a mistake and my finger accidentally hit it, leaving a small finger print in the thermal paste. I'm not sure how that would effect the cooling at all. I plan to over time change the cooler for a better one if needed. But, I know nothing about thermal paste, and was wondering what some good thermal paste would be? Also, what are some tips on applying thermal paste?
