Having often fps drops.. freezes while playing newer games on dual core? Ofcourse, its normal. Well in my case its not really. For past few weeks i have been reading online posts, posting myself, watching video clips.. all related to my problem, but i still didn't find a fix for it.
The problem that i am having is most certainly based on my CPU or MB. I have done many bios updates, windows updates, GPU updates/rolling back/completely reinstalling then installing and i am pretty sure its none of these. Example i am playing CS:GO most of the time and lately my experience with these lags/freezes/stutters have absolutely made me sick.
I join an online server, whilst joining the graph shows me choke, packet loss and weird fps (300fps or 15fps). It loads slowly and when i join its lags for about 15 seconds not gonna lie. Having around 40-70fps during those 15 seconds. But that's not the problem for me (but probably associated with something in my pc). Then i get decent frames. When everything starts playing out and rounds start.. whenever i see someone and start shooting at the for gods sake it goes down from 120+ to 50fps which is really bad(gamers will know the pain :)).
I looked up the video settings and i saw this thing called Multicore Rendering. It was disabled at the time. So i thought to myself i should enable it. After doing that i have so to say stable fps while a lot of stuff is happening on the server, that's 90fps up to 150+fps. But then i have a huge input lag. Same goes for Dota 2 but there isn't this option.. and it still lags with huge drops.
I have aftermark cooler for CPU 1 120mm fan, all positioned well, good temps while idle and while under load. So what is the fuss here? Also i could name a lot more games that i have drops in.. but in some i dont. But my most favourite ones have :(. It's longer post then usual but i wanted to explain things in better details. Thanks for reading and here's an Speccy link if its of any use for this problem. http://speccy.piriform.com/results/o...zjixncVZ4G8kCq
