I fix computers for my friends and family but my OWN computer is giving me the most problems.
It's a compaq presario sr2013wm everything is stock besides the ram. So what happened was I was playing a game and started seeing graphic artifacts. Eventually the computer crashed. My first thought was that the integrated graphics card failed so I got a new external one, but it still didn't work so I got a new monitor knowing my old won was always giving me trouble. It still didn't work. So before I spend anymore money can someone help me identify what's wrong?
Every time I put on the computer all I get is a black screen and the fan sounds like its on 100%. Both video ports give me a black screen and I know theirs some kind of signal because my monitor doesn't say no signal.
