Hi, I have just acquired a HP Pavilion dv7-6c00TX, and i am in the process to set it up.
The model no. 'dv7-6c00TX' was found on the battery slot after removal of the battery.
My CPU is i7-2760QM, My Chipset is HM65, and I am running Windows 7 Ultimate.
I have been inside BIOS setup. I noticed i have almost no choice to change anything, except Boot Order. Everything is greyed-out. At the Top Panel I see 'InsydeH2O Rev 3.5'.
Even after installing the lastest BIOS update : F1C Rev. A, nothing changes.
There is no where in BIOS setup that even mentions what HDD Mode I am currently operating in, much less giving me a choice. I can't see if i am operating in IDE/SATA/AHCI/RAID, although I know by intel's specifications HM65 ICH does not support RAID.
Please help me unlock this BIOS please, I have attempted to google my exact model, but unable to find anything. if there is additional info you require, please do not hesitate to let me know. Also, I tried to read up on some similar HP dv7 threads, but have not found anything helpful. Nothing on HP Pavilion dv7-6c00TX. And I have posted on HP Support Forums too, but they either do not reply or just post some pre-generated answer without even reading your post first.
Thanks in advance and Regards.
