Hello everyone,
I am looking for manual for my motherboard. I would like to add another stick of memory to it but I need to get the manual to know what I need to add.
I have a compaq presario SR2170NX computer.
My motherboard is: RC4158T-HM HP P/N 5188-6734
Serial # Q8310070114215
Memory:
Single channel memory architecture
2 X 240 pin DIMM Sockets
Supports PC2-3200 ( 400MHz), PC4200 (533MHz)DDR2 DIMMs
non ECC memory only, unbuffered
Maximum HP/Compaq approved memory is 2 GB
I also need to update Vista drivers to make the system run smoother. They have not been updated since 2006. The computer runs ok but it is a little sluggish on start up and when i play games on the net it slows down.
I am also going to run a PSU check to see if I have a week PSU.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.
