This computer has been passed through a couple people before I got it. First thing I did was run chkdsk /r. The CD was stuck in the drive and I found it so I ran it. When it boots, I get a screen that says, The Dell system recovery tool has detected an unsupported change in your master boot record. Please call Dell tech support for assistance.
Caution, do not manually shut down your computer. Click finish to reboot. Clicking finsh causes it to shut down and come back to the same screen.
I'm thinking the BIOS is toast. Any way to fix this ? Thanks.
