Hello, and first off, thankyou for taking interest in this matter.
Lets get to it then.
I recently bought new 2x4GB Corsair Vengeance 18xxmHz RAM for my computer, and as I thought that it would be a great improvement for me, I am experiencing slower loading rates, and a FPS frequently when playing games (I never had FPS drops before i tried out my new RAM).
Before i replaced my older ones, i had a couple of Kingston blu 2GB 1333mHz. Whenever i swap my new Vengeance with the old ones, I can clearly see and feel an improvement when using my PC, however, Im hoping to figure out how to solve this issue, and that is when it hit me: I might need a new motherboard as well.
Still, I need to add in, that ever since i installed the Corsair ones into my computer, I feel like it has only made my computer slower, and it has clearly decreased the performance when it comes to gaming.
I searched google for my current motherboard, when I somewhere got to the understanding that it has trouble operating with RAM that has 1600mHz or higher, hell, even more than 4GB RAM would be bad for it (at least that is what the website told me). I know that I shouldve done some research before buying some new hardware, in order for it to be compatible with everything, but I just got so excited by the thought of a faster computer.... sigh
So basically my question is:
What can I do here, in order to increase the performance of my computer as I wished for in the first place?
I thought you would might want some specs:
Radeon HD 6850 XFX Black Edition
AMD Phenom II X6 1090T 3200 Mhz processors
Corsair Vengeance 18xxmHz and Kingston Blu 1333mHz RAM
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-780A-UD3
Thankyou for taking your time to read this.
