I have just replaced a motherboard for my sister as it was faulty and am now relying with a faulty motherboard in hand. I wish to fix this board to use it as a home server as its a decent board for what I want to use it.
Basically the problem with this board is that when shutting down the computer, the PSU will keep on working as if it was never turned off and apart of that, the PC is freezing a lot. I also came across another problem with this board which is that every now and then the PC doesn't show display and USB and sound ports do not work.
This is the model no of the Motherboard: Asus P5KC
It's not the first time that I replaced capacitors but these capacitors are aluminium so I wouldn't know if there are faulty one's.
