One day my computer just would not start. I opened the case, and noticed the led that indicates mobo is getting power was - instead of being steadily green - flickering wildly.
So I switched to new PSU and now, after powering up, fans start spinning and chassis power leds light up, but display stays black. Also (usb) mouse and keyboard do not seem to be getting any signal.
I do not think i missed any connectors, although there is one four-pin (2x2) thing near CPU, into which I could only fit half of a 2x4 connector - must be the right one, because there's no other place for that/no other connector fit for the socket, yes?
Board is Asus p5k and the psu is Corsair CX600 or something. Do you think motherboard is the piece I should try replacing next? Any other things that could be causing this?
