Mobo: Gigabyte GA-P67A-D3-B3
Ram: Corsair XMS3 8GB (2 x 4GB)
PSU: XFX Core Edition PRO650W (P1-650S-NLB9) Bronze Certified
GPU: Sapphire 100338L Radeon HD 6770 1GB
CPU: Intel Core i5-2500

Well, here's my story. I've been having a monitor problem where I get strange pink waves going across the screen. While trying to fix this, I tried using different chords for the screen. I switched it from HDMI to DVI, and the problem wasn't fixed, so I put HDMI back in. When I put the HDMI back in, the screen wasn't registering. I couldn't restart my computer, so I decided to hard shut it down. Screen comes back on, still messed up, but now I have a new problem.

A high pitched irregular sound is coming from my computer. I don't know what it is. I took a tube and tried to listen in around my computer where the sound is coming from. It doesn't seem to be coming from the PSU, rather from some other components that I can't really tell.

I tried changing the speed of my GPU fan, and it doesn't seem to do anything, so the problem seems to be either coming from the CPU, the CPU fan, the Mobo, the ram, or the gpu itself. I don't know. But I can say a few things about the sound...

The sound does not exist at startup. As soon as it reaches the logon screen, the sound begins. When starting up programs, the sound briefly stops. when running games or other intensive software, the sound completely stops. When clicking on links and other things or loading new web pages on the internet, the sound briefly stops while loading. When the sound is on, it's an intermittent very high pitched sound.

I really don't know what is going on and I would really appreciate some help right now..... this is really getting me down and I don't know what to do.
