[SOLVED] Asus Anti-Surge

Hi, just built my new rig.
Mobo: Asus P8Z77-V LK
CPU: Intel Core i5 3570K
GPU: MSI GTX 660
PSU: Corsair CX500
RAM: Corsair 8GB XMS3

After a day of using it, suddenly it powered off and booted up saying because of a power surge from the psu, asus anti-surge (a feature of the mobo) shut down the computer. This happens randomly. I then read online to understand the problem. Someone said that the asus anti-surge feature is useless so i disabled it in the bios, but now with it disabled , instead of powering off, the screen blacks out and the speaker makes a buzzing sound. That means the anti-surge feature was actually saving my computer. btw this doesnt happen when i play games only, it happens randomly.

I know there is a hardware problem. I removed the gpu and used the internal gpu and the computer doesnt power off anymore. Nothing is overclocked everything is stock. What i want to know is which part of the computer is giving problems. I guess its either the mobo, psu, gpu or ram. I know the motherboard tells me that its a power surge from the psu, but someone said that a faulty mobo can also be true. u might think that the gpu is the fault since i took it out and the problem stops, but maybe its because the psu doesnt have that much more of a strain and can continue running smoothly.

Can anyone help me?
