Hey, guys. I just built a new computer and the processor I put in is an Intel i7 4770K Haswell @ 3.5gHz. I bought some third party thermal paste for it since it was recommended to not use the stock, and I'm going to be doing mainly video editing/cinematography with it.
My question begins with while I'm encoding H.264 MP4 videos, it's constantly running between 85-92ºC (tj. Max is 100ºC), and will be for about 35-40 minutes at a time. Is it safe for it to run this hot for that amount of time frame? Everything seems to run well, I just didn't know if bad things may happen behind the scenes.
Thanks!
