I have a Conpaq 6910p laptop and today I took it apart very carefully to clean a massive dust blockage in the fan. When I put the laptop back together it worked fine but for some reason when I plugged the laptop in (because it has to run off the charger, the battery is dead), the screen turned on (whilst the laptop was off). It sometimes displays blank dark grey and sometimes lines horizontal or vertical. When I turn on the laptop the screen turns off completely. I have no idea why this is. At one point it worked perfectly and displayed my logon screen and username but that was before I put the rest of the screws in. I don't understand what is going on and I need this fixing A.S.A.P. I know the screen isn't broken, it has to be the connection
