Hi,
two weeks ago my Acer 4810 TZG laptop stopped working: it was in hibernation and when I pressed the power button the power and WiFi LEDs lit up, the fan turned for a few seconds, the DVD drive started but the screen stayed black. I had never had any problem with this laptop before and the battery is still working. I tried several power supplies, I tried both RAM sticks one at a time in both slots, I tried removing the battery, disconnecting the power supply and pressing power for 30s, I tried flashing the latest BIOS at start with a USB stick using Fn + Esc then power (the LED doesn't blink), I stripped the components one by one (DVD, HDD, WiFi, keyboard and touchpad ...) until only the motherboard was left but it still won't start.
I there anything else I should try before concluding that the motherboard is dead?
