I've spent my morning attempting to get my computer to turn on. I moved it to a different power outlet that I tested and knew worked, no luck. I removed the power supply from the case, pluged the 24 pin motherboard cable into the unit, bridged the 15th and 16th pins so that it would start and plugged it in. It started right up, so that's not the problem. I then plug the 24 pin cable into the motherboard and hit the power button. All of the fans start spinning and the system seems to be getting power. I reattached the VGA cables the the video card and hit the power button, started fine green lights on the card and fans running. I then reattached the cpu power cable and... nothing; not even a fan spinning. I have no idea what that means... I've tested the power supply with a multimeter and it's doing just fine. I also tried changed from the cpu 1 port and cable to the cpu 2 port and cable with no change in the result. I hope that's enough info to work with.
