System Loading Issue

Hello,

I hope the topic is related to this section.

I bought my PC back in October, 2012. the config is as follows:

AMD FX 4170 Black Edition
Gigabyte 990fxa-ud3
16gb G.Skill Ripjaws 2 x 8GB
Kingston HyperX 120gb SSD (windows drive)
WD 640GB Caviar Black
Buffalo 3TB USB 3.0 External Drive
XFX 7850 DD
Seasonic 640Watt 80+ Gold

the system was blistering fast at that moment when it would take about 6 seconds (if my memory serves me right) from power on to desktop. the post screen would come and go in a flash and the windows loading logo would not even complete loading. about 2 weeks after setting it up, the system made an illegal restart due to a power bump. since then, the post screen would remain for about 10 sec and the windows logo would take about 16 seconds. there were no changes made to the system prior to the incident. everything was working perfectly fine.

I have tried few options such as updating the bios, changing sata ports of the hdd, checking windows for different types of errors etc. nothing helped. the performance of the system didn't seem to be affected in anyway however I wouldn't be able to tell since nothing was really installed in the system (games or other software) at that point and since I upgraded after a long time, everything seemed quite fast.

last Friday, i did a fresh install of windows 7 64 bit hoping this might at least improve the windows loading time but nothing changed!

claiming warranty is not an option. so you guys are my only hope to fix this, if possible. thank you for your time and effort.
