PC suddenly reboots

I have a problem where since a few days ago, my computer started suddenly rebooting at random intervals. There is no BSOD or anything, it just behaves as if the restart button was pressed.

So far it's been rebooting at least once per day. It never did that during the past 3-4 years. There is no apparent trigger for it - sometimes it reboots when I'm playing a game, sometimes when I'm browsing the net without any games running in the background.

The weirdest part is that sometimes, it can go into a loop of rapid consecutive reboots, as in seconds apart, lasting for somewhere around 10 seconds, and then run fine.

I have no idea what's causing it. My antivirus didn't find anything unusual, I tried plugging the extension cord to a different socket and actually managed to trigger the loop of restarts ON STARTUP... the only remaining idea I have is that it might have gotten too dusty inside, but opening the case would void my warranty.

What can I do?
