BIOS and GRUB have failed!

Hi,

I am using an Asus K53S running Linux Mint. I deleted most partitions. but now my computer won't boot. I tried booting from a live CD and USB but neither were being recognized despite changing the UEFI and other settings in BIOS.

First GRUB stopped working, now BIOS seems to have stopped as well. When I boot, the computer will power off on its own if the live CD or USB is connected to it. When I enter BIOS (after removing all live devices) the computer powers off. When I try booting otherwise I get a PXE-M0F: Exiting Intel PXE ROM.

Any suggestions?
