[SOLVED] HDD not showing up in BIOS or OS

Hello TechSupport!

I would like to request help with a new PC I have just puchased.
The problem is that I have an SSD and a HDD and the HDD is not showing up either in BIOS or in OS.

Motherboard: Asus Z97A
SSD: Samsugn EVO 256GB
HDD: Seagate Barracuda 2TB/Toshiba 1TB (both 7.2k, 6Gbps)
CPU: Intel Core i5-4690K

I have ordered a configuration and everything works except the HDD is not showing up in BIOS.

Why I am posting this in the MB section is that I am fairly certain the HDD is not defective.

What I did as troubleshooting:

Swapped the SATA ports on the motherboard between the SSD and HDD, still only SSD shows up.
Swapped the SATA cable between the SSD and HDD but still only SSD is showing up.
If I remove every SATA device (DVD drive, SSD), nothing is showing up on the SATA ports.
I have checked and it hears/feels like the HDD is not even spinning up (no noise or vibration whatsoever)

To test I have went and purchased another HDD (Toshiba instead of Seagate) and still the same thing happens with all the test, HDD is not even showing up or feels like its even spinning up, so I suspect its not the issue of the HDD (or I am really unlucky and have managed to buy 2 factory defective HDDs)

Any suggestions on what maybe the problem? BIOS settings have been reset to default.
