OK so, this problem started a week or so ago. It is basically causing my computer to get extremely laggy regardless of what is happening, FPS laggy. A few examples can be seen in League of Legends, i went from having 130+fps for about two years but now only managing around 30-40fps.
similarly counterstrike go, ~100->30. Battlefield 3, ~90->~25.
I have tried everything i can really think of, virus scans(im clean) defragging, uninstalling unwanted programs etc. I have however not cleaned inside my actuall desktop tower.
While nothing is happening on my computer, (just the basics running) my cpu is pulling 10-15% usage. And with just firefox open, it jumps around all the time hitting 40% often. When i pla something slightly cpu intensive. It sits above 90% and hits 100% regularly. Im not sure it would be overheating as it does it from the moment i turn it on, even if it has had a few days to cool down being off. I also noticed that my ram is sitting around 1.25 but it doesn't change much so i think it is not causing any issues.
If anyone has any ideas or needs me to post my diag and specs or w/e just let me know. I really want to get this fixed
